United Church Homes is a faith-inspired organization that serves older adults across 15 States and many service lines from skilled nursing, independent and assisted living, service coordination, home health, middle market housing, HUD, and we are on the grow.
Founded in 1916, UCH began its mission at a time of ethnic discrimination, poverty, and pandemic. There were no safety nets for the poor or older adults like there are today.
Over the years, people and situations have changed, but our mission has remained the same to provide quality and affordable housing and healthcare options to older adults.

What the key responsibilities are :
- Lead and manage a team of five to six finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.
- Oversee the entire financial wheelhouse, including payroll, reporting, auditing and compliance.
- Serve as an interdisciplinary leader, working closely with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Utilize expertise in Workday and other related systems to streamline financial processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support organizational growth and sustainability.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the revenue lifecycle in senior living and healthcare services.

What the required qualifications are :
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role in senior healthcare financial management, preferably in a nonprofit setting
- Proven ability to manage complex organizations with multiple service lines and companies.
- Strong leadership and political acumen to navigate a diverse organization and bring groups together.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workday, and other ERP systems.
