Adient Aerospace is looking for a Senior Manager Supply Chain Integration to join our team in Huntington Beach, California.

This is an on-site role and must be based in Huntington Beach, CA. We look for highly proficient individuals who are collaborative, value diversity, enjoy working as a team, and share our passion to succeed.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Integration will ensure operational excellence and process compliance within the supply base through onsite visits and assessments.

They will assist key suppliers in resolving significant issues with potential business-wide impact by collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations leadership.

Additionally, they will coordinate and address company and department-wide risks and obstacles to align manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery schedules with customer needs.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

  • Oversee the monitoring of critical business-wide metrics and coordinate cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
  • Lead the development and execution of long-term capacity planning strategies to support growth.
  • Implement advanced supply chain modeling techniques for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive efficiency and cost reduction in supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with material planning to maximize critical suppliers' capacity utilization.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources for an effective supply chain.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for supply chain management.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support manufacturing and sales.
  • Analyze current inventories and procedures to suggest improvements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to optimize delivery times and minimize costs.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Implement and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to company policies.
  • Coordinate and resolve company-wide risks and obstacles to align schedules with customer needs.
  • Report key supplier progress to senior leadership in operational initiatives.
  • Identify and remove significant barriers to Continuous Improvement (CI) for suppliers to enhance delivery and quality.
  • Evaluate key supplier performance and apply sustainable improvement measures.
  • Direct production readiness assessments for New Product Introduction and rate increases with business-wide impact.
  • Engage senior management of key suppliers to initiate major improvement programs.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and report all supplier performance-related activities.
  • Evaluate supplier qualifications, including training and certifications.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred

Experience :

  • 8-10 years of direct experience in supply chain management, focusing on capacity planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain sourcing strategy and management.
  • Expertise in advanced supply chain modeling techniques preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Skills :

  • Proficient in Syspro.
  • Proven knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Inventory Management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, math, and statistics.

Preferred Skills / Experience :

  • Proven success in managing complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Deep understanding of global supply chain networks, encompassing risk management, regulatory compliance, and international trade practices.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in predictive analytics, scenario planning, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading teams in procurement or material planning.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Other :

  • Position entails extensive travel, comprising approximately 60% of the working schedule.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSE :

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) preferred

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY :

Manage team for adherence to organizational goals, operating policies, and budgetary guidelines.
