We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing new import and export business, maintaining existing client relationships, and overall strategic management.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development :
- Identify and pursue new import and export business opportunities.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance the company's market presence and competitive edge.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to secure new business.
Client Management :
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Address client needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop client retention strategies to ensure continued business growth.
Strategic Planning and Management :
- Develop and implement the company's overall strategic plan and long-term and short-term business goals.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure business efficiency.
- Adjust business direction as needed based on market trends and company needs.
Contract Negotiation :
- Lead and participate in key contract negotiations to maximize company benefits.
- Maintain good communication with suppliers, partners, and clients to resolve any issues during contract execution.
Budget Management :
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring strict cost control to meet financial goals.
- Analyze financial reports and operational data, and implement necessary improvements.
Performance Evaluation :
- Establish and refine performance evaluation systems.
- Regularly assess the performance of employees and teams, providing training and development opportunities to enhance overall business capabilities.
Market Analysis and Compliance :
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ensure all import and export operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle client complaints and emergencies to improve client satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Participate in industry conferences and trade shows to stay updated with industry trends and networking opportunities.
- Manage company risks and develop and implement risk management strategies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in the shipping and freight forwarding industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required
- Extensive experience in business development with strong market insight and business acumen.
- Excellent strategic planning and management skills, with the ability to adjust business directions.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Thorough understanding of import and export business processes and relevant regulations.
- Strong budget management and financial analysis skills, with risk management awareness.
- Proven leadership abilities and problem-solving skills, capable of working under pressure.
