Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.
Expertise is required in the specific area of pediatric urology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D. / Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
They must also be certified by the American Board of Urology or foreign equivalent.Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students, urology residents and urology fellow.
Clinical responsibilities may include in-patient and outpatient care in pediatric urology.Research or scholarship responsibilities may include pursuit of clinical and / or basic science research related to urology.
The successful candidate will serve as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Urology in the Department of Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where the clinical practice will be focused.
