The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper with the supervision of work activities of the Housekeeping team to ensure a clean, orderly, safe, and attractive guestrooms and hotel public areas.
Position responsibilities include :
- Performing all tasks assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
- Ensuring standards of cleanliness and maintenance are consistently met through guestroom and public area inspections
- Supervising and training of Housekeeping associates
- Assisting with the daily operation of the Housekeeping department
- Assisting with administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, ordering, etc.
- Coordinating lost and found, including packing and mailing of packages
- Promoting excellent guest / associate rapport
- Establishing and maintaining effective associate relations
Must have excellent communication skills, bilingual communication is preferred. Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory position is preferred.
