About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Tax Compliance Analyst to join the Fund Finance Central Services team. This position will service hedge & private equity fund of fund & access fund vehicles (the funds) in conjunction with third-party administrators & tax preparers to ensure timely tax reporting & communication, as well as drive continuous improvement throughout the processes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the internal tax team members in managing various tax-related correspondence from federal, state & local, & international sources.
- Manage sorting, scanning, & logging tax notices in a timely & accurate manner, ensuring that all relevant information is captured & stored in our database.
- Work with third parties to coordinate tax documentation between various providers.
- Responsible for coordinating the tracking & retrieval of tax estimates, K-1s, State K1s, PFICs, & all tax documents for our third-party preparers
- Responsible for setting up & maintaining online business accounts with various state taxing authorities.
- Create & maintain investment portal access for portfolio investments across multiple funds
- Manage mail including return mail, creation & printing of mailing labels & prepare USPS certified mail receipts for tax-related correspondence, following the appropriate postal regulations & standards.
- Communicate updates & feedback on the status of tax notices & resolving issues or queries that may arise on a timely basis.
- Coordinate closely with Fund Finance teams to streamline the payment process, ensuring efficiency & compliance with financial regulations, & responsible for timely & accurate submission of tax payments through both payment checks and / or online portals.
- Monitor tax email distribution lists & email boxes to ensure timely responses to inquiries.

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
