Courtesy Chevrolet is currently looking for an experienced, competitive (insurance licensed individual a plus) to work inside our insurance agency.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, friendly, outgoing and sales driven who can build rapport and use what they uncover in conversation to help sell insurance.

Our agency is located inside a busy dealership that sells over 350 cars a month. You will follow up on sales leads, service policies, answer phones and help the dealership with insurance verification.

You must be comfortable walking up to customers, building rapport, and asking for the sale.

This is not a typical 9am-5pm office job. You must be reliable and available to work holidays, weekends and late nights.

Wages include a competitive hourly rate plus commissions based on your individual sales production. Benefits, PTO and 401k options after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers
• Identify and qualify sales leads generated from a variety of sources
• Help protect customers by offering Allstate products that will meet their needs
• Serve your local community by helping them prepare for life’s uncertainties
• Educate prospective customers on how to protect their families and assets
• Provide a positive customer experience

Qualifications

Excellent listening / communication skills, outgoing and positive personality

Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment

Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong interest in a sales career sales experience preferred
• Willing to obtain necessary Property & Casualty license to sell insurance upon hire (existing license is a plus!)
• Confident, motivated individual who works well independently
• Able to multi-task, follow through and follow-up
