The Manager, HSE, is responsible for proactively safeguarding the health, safety, and environment of our employees, partners, and the communities in which we operate. This role ensures compliance with the Lufkin HSE Management System while fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (4-year) degree from an accredited university or equivalent Professional Designation.
• Minimum 2 years management experience and 5 years HSE experience, ideally with experience in a regional or multi-site environment.
• Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Identify, assess and manage HSE related risks across the region, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Professional certification is a plus (i.e., CSP, CIH, etc.),
• Overnight travel 10%-20% within the Southwest Region of the US.
• Strong understanding and ability to interpret safety and environmental regulations. Competent in industrial hygiene, auditing, correction / preventive action planning, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence, inspire and motivate people who are not directly under his / her responsibility.
• Experience in HSE related data bases, data tracking, data trending and analysis.
• Microsoft Office applications- Intermediate level.
