FULL TIME - Head Expediter / Food Runner Job Description
Let It Fly South Dakota, LLC is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as the Head Expediter / Food Runner in Sioux Falls, SD.
As the Food Expediter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen and dining area.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and servers to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Inspect dishes for accuracy, presentation, and quality before they are sent out to tables
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to ensure they meet our standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediter station
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and hospitality, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Food Expediter must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
