Mercer University's Tift College of Education is searching for an Instructional Technologist.
Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Dean of the Tift College of Education and housed on the Macon campus, the Instructional Technologist will collaborate with faculty and staff to provide innovative support to strengthen the College's programs and courses, advance faculty research, and enhance communication with students, alumni, and supporters.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Education, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university and at least one year of experience in educational technology or a related field is required.
In lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidates with a master's degree in Instructional Technology, Education, Computer Science, or a related field are highly desirable.
Candidates must have experience using various educational technologies, including learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), web-based collaboration tools (e.
g., Zoom), AI, and virtual simulation. Additionally, candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills, as well as demonstrated organizational and human relation skills, and ability to work in a diverse environment.
