You’re a great listener and you empathize with others easily. A passion of yours is advocating for others, and you have the skills needed to assess the psychological and emotional needs of residents and their families.
You’re incredibly compassionate, and you love making sure that residents have the care they need. We appreciate your ability to connect with others and know you would be an amazing Social Worker at Ohio Living.
Why Ohio Living is different
- Close-knit culture. We’re more like a second family here. You’ll get to know your team, our residents and patients, and you’ll appreciate the additional joy it brings to your work.
- Rewarding work. If you are called to care for others, you’ll find real satisfaction at Ohio Living. This is an environment where you can fully use your skills to comfort, assist and inspire.
- Excellent staffing ratios. We are not-for-profit and put quality care first, so our nursing team has more time to provide personalized and thoughtful care to each resident which leads to less stress in the workplace for everyone.
- Attractive pay and benefits. We offer everything you expect, plus shift differentials, a retirement plan, paid time off, education assistance, pay advances up to $500, recognition programs and free meals.
- Schedules that fit. We’ll work together to find a schedule that meets both of our needs, and we won’t mandate extra hours after your shift.
What you’ll do
You will focus on the emotional and psycho-social needs of the residents while maintaining a relationship with families as well.
The residents will rely on you and your knowledge of the healthcare system and will look to you for guidance when it comes to navigating their care options and overcoming any barriers they encounter.
We count on you to approach every interaction with kindness, compassion, and empathy.
