The TPM role leads the planning and implementation of contract manufacturing (CM) integration capability, as well as scaling and continuous improvement efforts.
Planning and implementation efforts are focused on manufacturing capacity including layout, line, test infrastructure and labor models factoring in variability, yield, utilization, and cycle-time.
The role will also drive cross-INFRA projects related to end to end cycle-time reduction and fulfilment network optimization, contributing to the overall cost reduction, emission reduction and service level improvement.
The right individual will partner cross functionally with hardware engineering, operations, planning, design, contract manufacturers for above mentioned efforts and projects.
Possessing strong leadership, influencing skills, and technical depth are critical elements of success for this role.
Key job responsibilities
- Capacity modeling for line, testing, labors for exiting and new products factoring in cycle time, yield, utilization and other variables;
- Propose the line modeling (line vs cell) based on product complexity, volume, form factors etc.
- Work with NPI and Operation teams to monitor and revise the capacity model, making sure the capacity coverage for the demand;
- Engage continuous improvement projects within four-walls for cycle time, cost and quality;
- Engage in cross functional projects for the end-to-end fulfilment improvement from process and system perspectives
- Develop business metrics and conduct analysis, identify gaps between plan and execution and propose corrective actions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial and operations engineering preferred)
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules on a manufacturing or supply chain environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
