Responsibilities
- ndependently performs preventive maintenance such as replacing filters, belts and motors. Independently paints walls, repairs cabinet hinges, installs wall fixtures and assemblies furniture.
- Independently clears clogged drains using plungers / drain snakes, rebuilds Sloan valves and removes / replaces threaded plumbing fixtures.
- Performs other maintenance related tasks such as moving equipment, furniture and supplies.
- Routinely performs security functions of patrolling hallways, initiating incident reports and restraining unstable patients.
- Provides coverage for Security and Patient Sitters. Must have a Florida Class "D" Security License and IAHSS certification.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- HVAC Certified
- 1 year maintenance related work experience.
Graduation from high school level trade school is acceptable alternative to 1 year experience.
Drivers license, Florida Class D Security License required.
- IAHSS certification required within 90 days.
- Other duties as assigned.
