I am working with a regional litigation powerhouse on finding a talented Commercial Litigation Associate to join their North Jersey office's highly-regarded practice.
Key details are as follows :
Job Duties
- Litigate complex Commercial matters in State and Federal Courts across the region
- Perform full suite of Motion Practice for such matters, including drafting and arguing motions, handling requests and responses for Discovery, conducting Depositions, liaising with clients and opposing counsel, negotiating Settlements, and otherwise carrying matters from inception-to-close / settlement.
- Bring matters to the Trial and Appellate stages when necessary
- Engage in Mediations and Arbitrations for high-stakes disputes
Core Qualifications
- Min 2yrs of experience in Commercial Litigation
- Experience leading / First Chair'ing Depositions is a plus
- Experience with independent court appearances is a plus
- MUST be licensed to practice in New Jersey
- Licensure in New York is a plus
Positions Specs & Firm Notes
- $140,000-$165,000 base salary, experience-dependent
- HYBRID office (2-3 days in-office)
