We are seeking a AI Product Manager to strategize, implement, and manage the growth of AI products across Ally. The successful candidate will become the subject matter expert in AI products to lead and develop strategies focused on innovation.

The AI Product Manager will partner with the business and technical teams to present solutions, gather feedback, and maintain relationships in an evolving environment.

The Work Itself

  • Drive strategic planning with the lines of business and product teams for AI development
  • Manage a small team to lead efforts on operationalization of AI within their environments, including providing direction, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring execution of the roadmap
  • Collaborate closely with other product teams, lines of businesses, engineering, data governance, and data science teams to experiment and implement Generative AI and AI / Machine Learning solutions in production
  • Gather, document, and provide business requirements, system requirement specification reviews, analytics requirements, and user acceptance testing for projects and releases that impact the digital channels
  • Continuously assess market needs, adapting the product strategy to capitalize new opportunities and address evolving challenges in the AI space
  • Support the overall product lifecycle launch and ongoing improvements. Monitor Key Performance Indicators user feedback.
  • Identify potential risks and mitigations throughout the product development

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of product and / or project management experience, with 1-3+ years domain knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data scientist concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems, or related field
  • Ability to break a large, complex and ambiguous problem into small well defined use cases and roadmap them. Define appropriate and measurable KPIs for a use case for estimating and measuring business impact
  • Experience supporting business units to develop AI Strategies for product
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure, ability to achieve balance between the right technical and business solution, ability to translate complex technical information into simple terms, commitment to quality, thorough approach, and pride in what we deliver
  • Passion for creating leading edge solutions to complex business problems, appetite for career advancement through expanded responsibility, desire to learn new things and work on different teams, interest in solving the puzzle (intellectual curiosity), objective thinking and perspective (courage of our convictions)
  • Consulting experience preferred within project or product management
