Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented LOGISTICS SPECIALIST to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure that pre-established project requirements are met.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Maintaining data distribution systems
- Expediting document approvals
- Assisting in the preparation of project manuals and operations manuals
- Handling document cataloging, packing, and storage at project closeout
- Providing technical guidance to Engineering Aides as needed
- Attending project meetings to stay updated on project status and assist in monitoring space requirements for project personnel
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
- Knowledge of technical engineering documents, including the ability to identify and handle drawings
- Familiarity with Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Document and Material Control System (DMCS), and / or CAD operations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
What Desired Skills You'll Bring :
- Additional certifications or training in document management systems or CAD operations
- Experience working in a similar engineering support role within a project environment
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices
