Dental Assistant

We're looking for a full-time, experienced (preferably certified, expanded duties), dental assistant to join our team.
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history
- Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
- Assist hygienists when needed; seat patients, take x-rays, schedule next hygiene appointment
- Prepare trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies
- Make temporary crowns & bridges
- Clean and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms as needed
- Take high quality digital dental radiographs
- Management of supplies & equipment
- Patient charting and notes as instructed by the dentist
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in
Extended Functions (RDAEF) preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Radiology certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a DA (a must)
- Cerec experience preferred
- iTero / Invisalign experience preferred
- Must be a Team Player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Possess great customer service and hospitality to our patients
Hours :
Monday 10 : 00 - 7 : 30
Tuesday 6 : 30 - 4 : 30
Wednesday 6 : 30 - 4 : 30
Thursday 6 : 30 - 2 : 30
Compensation commensurate with experience, qualifications, skill set and performance.
Benefits available after 90 day introductory period : Continuing education, laundry service, dental services, medical, PTO, 6 paid holidays, 401k w / matching (qualifies after 1 year) .
