You have experience in equipment verification, repair and problem solving. Though you are independent, inventive and take initiative, you are also a phenomenal teammate with a positive working demeanor.

A successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, as well as customer service skills when working with contractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities : Use diagnostic and product test programs to diagnose and repair SLT equipment. Make use of oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and various other diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair equipment failures, at the DUT hardware level and system level specific to SLT systems.

Participate in the assembly, and test validation of hardware associated with SLT activities, to enable new SLT capacity.

Maintain thermal control systems Maintain, repair, and adjust automated pick and place equipment. Track hardware (boards, sockets, systems, etc.

in a database used to record status, location, revisions and repair. Preferred Experience : Electronic or IC testing Computer Systems Trouble shooting.

Hands-on experience, analytical & systematic approach to problem solving, maintenance of test equipment or system level reliability testers Proven experience on 5S, EHS, ISO9001 and other standard methodologies of measurement.

Preferred to be able to work 12 hour night shift, 3-4 days per week Academic Credentials : Associates in EE or similar Location : Austin, TX #LI-TW2 #LI-HYBRID At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.

Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
