Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Business Services team to accomplish Association goals.
- Assist the Senior Manager, Product Development, to accomplish departmental goals.
- Use e-learning authoring tools to build interactive digital learning experiences.
- Using storyboards, templates, and design documents, build interactive e-learning modules, including activities, quizzes, graphics, animation, and gamified and other multimedia elements.
- Work collaboratively with instructional designers, graphic designers, media producers, QA, project managers, and leadership.
- Provide quality assurance on vendor / contractor-related projects; assist with troubleshooting as needed.
- Manage all development files and ensure they are kept up to date and organized.
- Stay up to date with the latest e-learning development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve processes and deliver innovative solutions.
- Work within cloud-based collaboration tools such as Adobe Cloud, Microsoft Teams, and others.
- Support all internal team members and departments following the Association mission and values while promoting Association culture.
- Perform related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia design, instructional design, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with developing e-learning courses.
- Expert knowledge of Articulate e-learning authoring tools, including Storyline and Rise.
- Understanding of SCORM and xAPI standards.
- Deep functional knowledge of accessibility standards and experience creating WCAG-compliant e-learning products.
- Experience creating e-learning products optimized for mobile learning.
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
- Experience using motion graphics & animation software desired, but not required.
- Strong level of comfort with servers, asset management, and file organization systems.
- Highly effective organizational, time-management, and priority-setting skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid work environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and quickly grasp technical issues and problems.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and comfortable learning new technology platforms as needed.
- Minimal travel may be required; less than 10%.
