Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist for an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity at a renowned Cancer Center in Fife, WA.
This role offers an immediate start and a chance to work with a dedicated healthcare team in an innovative oncology setting.
Location : Fife, WA
Duration : 13 Weeks+ (Potential Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule : Monday to Thursday 7 : 45 AM 4 : 30 PM, Friday 8 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expert drug and clinical information to healthcare professionals in the cancer care team.
- Ensure pliance with federal and state regulations on drug storage and inventory management.
- Serve as a key resource for clinic staff regarding pharmacy and medication-related questions.
- Oversee daily chemotherapy drug orders and support the clinics e-scripting needs.
- Manage the clinics research and pliance with applicable pharmacy laws.
- Supervise and assist pharmacy technicians, occasionally pounding chemotherapy drugs when necessary.
- Monitor infusion bay operations and ensure all processes run smoothly.
Qualifications :
- PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oncology setting.
- Active, clear WA Pharmacist license .
- Familiarity with Onco EMR or similar systems preferred.
Work Environment :
- 25 infusion bays.
- On-site dispensing of chemotherapy medications.
- Collaborate with a team of certified pharmacy technicians and clinic staff.
- No evening shifts or on-call duties, offering an excellent work-life balance.
