Junior-level Workstation PC Technician
Pay rate range : $22-$23 / hr
Onsite in Fontana (traveling a 20-mile radius of Fontana)
2 year-long contract
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience with PC support, including deployment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Minimum 1 year experience with direct client interaction
- Experience preparing systems for deployment and managing incoming / outgoing assets.
- Experience scanning existing asset for applications and settings.
- Extensive experience in profile management and data transfer.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Committed to learn and relate technical concepts promptly.
Job Description
A large healthcare company is looking for a candidate that will support a robust Microsoft based network running XP, Windows 7 and Lotus notes.
The ideal candidate will need server, PC, MAC and laptop expertise in order to perform the duties of this position. Some main responsibilities include but are not limited to : receiving assets, moving equipment within and / or between facilities, staging equipment for build / image activity, interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery, executing equipment replacement activity, updating asset management systems to reflect work performed, and monitoring daily activity.
Additionally the candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining PC hardware / software, troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals, performing system backups and data recovery, resolving network communication problems independently, disk capacity monitoring and network security, and various administration tasks.
We are looking for someone that is comfortable interacting with clients face to face on a daily basis and has excellent customer service.
Compensation :
$22 / hr to $23 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
