Santa Barbara Golf Club in beautiful Santa Barbara, California is seeking a full-time, experienced Golf Course Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- The golf course superintendent manages labor, time, materials and finances in a manner that is compatible with the environment, meets financial goals and serves our customer and client.
- Lead a team of maintenance employees and assure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Communicate with guests, vendors, suppliers, other golf professionals and others in the golf industry and Santa Barbara community.
- Educate community groups about the golf course and golf course maintenance.
- Effectively manage a maintenance budget of $1.5M inclusive of labor and materials while delivering an exceptional golfing experience.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent is required.
Compensation : $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
