Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Estimated annual base pay - Level 1 : $ 16.85 (min) - $21.06 (mid) - $25.27 (max) hourly
Estimated annual base pay - Level 2 : $18.46 (min) - $23.08 (mid) - $27.70 (max) hourly

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Mechanical Assembler, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Mechanical Assembler reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting and fitting subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment, in an industrial setting.
The position works under some supervision and limited contact with external suppliers or customers. This is a second shift role, Monday- Friday typically starting at 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm.
This role also gets a 10% shift differential for second shift.
What You Will Be Doing
Assemble and / or perform preset calibration / final testing. Performs low to moderately complex assembly and test. Products may include but are not limited to small products, light subassemblies, and / or complete units of a smaller size.
Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.
Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.
Follow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.
Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.
Pick and / or stock parts from point of use in stock rooms and places completed parts. (In Duarte, Stock handlers perform these functions.)
Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner, including Quality Assurance and Test Record.
What We Are Looking For
Level 1
US - High School Diploma or equivalent required
No related work experience required. Mechanical aptitude required.
The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information.
The ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner and possessing strong hand-eye coordination.
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.
Work is performed in area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near Vision and / or Color Vision examinations.
Level 2
US - High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-5 years related work experience and applicable certifications.
The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information.
The ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner and possessing strong hand-eye coordination.
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.
Work is performed in area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
