Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Analytical Chemist who can adapt to the fast speed and highly competitive environment.

The candidate must have strong analytical chemistry experience to perform all the quality testing for radiopharmaceuticals produced at Invicro.

Invicro does contract research focusing on the development of short half-life radiotracers for PET and SPECT imaging.

The Analytical Chemist's primary purpose is to conduct the quality control testing of the radiotracers to ensure that all release criteria for human use are met.

A strong background in HPLC and GC are required. Knowledge in aseptic techniques and cGMP is preferred.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Perform quality control testing of the produced radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Follow laboratory QC testing in accordance with company methods, protocols, SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
  • Ensure and maintain a functional QC analytical laboratory operation (system suitability, OQ / PQ / PM).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Works in environment with radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Work in ISO classified environment under strict gowning requirement.
  • May need to lift up to 65 lbs.
  • Work with bodily fluids.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s level degree in analytical chemistry or proven 2-3 years’ experience in analytical chemistry.
  • 0-3 years of experience in analytical chemistry.
  • Demonstrated ability willingness to perform hands on work, acquire new knowledge, and learn new skills are required.
  • Ability to function well and independently and in a fast-paced R&D environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt quickly to ever changing needs to support current research projects in a highly focused and self-motivated manner.
  • Experience with the discovery and evaluation of PET tracers, including the radiosynthesis, HPLC purification and quality control for PET in vivo imaging highly desired.
  • Ability to builds strong relationships with peers.
  • Good knowledge of cGMP and USP.
  • Detail oriented and good analytical thinking.
  • Ability to understand oral and written communications and ability to express results accurately and promptly.
  • Previous experience with radiopharmaceutical quality control strongly preferred.
