Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Preschool Teacher at Expanding Minds Childcare LLC in Minneapolis, MN. The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, providing a safe and nurturing learning environment, and collaborating with parents and staff to support the growth and development of preschool-aged children.
Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education degree or relevant field
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- 2 hours of Active supervision training
- 2 hours of Child Development training / Behavior Guidance
- 1hr of SUIDS training / AHT training
- 11 hours of continuing education in early childhood education.
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for learning
- Able to lead a class of 8-9 children.
