MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Our client has engaged QPT to locate a Maintenance Supervisor to work in their facility located near Grand Rapids, MI.
The facility is comprised of Extrusion and Anodizing lines, Punch presses, CNC mills, Saws, and Formers. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in troubleshooting and problem solving within a manufacturing work environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment, as well as regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility.
- Prioritize repairs, activities, and events in accordance with production demand.
- Conduct routine mechanical testing of plant equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Supervisory experience of leading teams and implementing plans.
- 4 years of Maintenance Experience is preferred.
- Mechanically inclined with experience troubleshooting equipment.
- Basic understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical
- Electrical and Controls knowledge
- Commitment to complete work with safety, quality, and efficiency in mind.
- Willingness to learn on the job and willing to work with a variety of machines and processes.
- High School Diploma / GED
- Ability to work at heights and confined spaces.
- This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing / pulling, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.
- This job operates in a plant environment within a manufacturing / warehouse / shipping facility with a controlled climate in the office area.
Temperatures vary in the plant area.
- This is a full-time position with mandatory overtime. Standard days / hours are Monday Saturday, 45-50 hours a week
