Shift : 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm occasional Saturday

Pay Rate : $24.00 to $27.00 per hour (payrate is based on experience)

Summary

The Maintenance Planner orders maintenance parts, materials and manages the Maintenance Inventory, and oversees the plant preventative maintenance program and the maintenance parts room.

W hile ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute the plant Preventative Maintenance program.
• Organize, distribute and audit all work orders to maximize plant efficiency and minimize production downtime.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels in the maintenance parts room.
• Track all purchase orders to meet monthly budgets; assist Plan Maintenance Manager in the budgeting process through monthly reporting and review.
• Lead and provide direction to the Maintenance Clerk / Parts Expeditor / Clerk.
• Purchase required Maintenance parts and materials needed through EBP, P-Card, Xign or Purchase Orders.
• Oversee and assist where required maintenance of SAP PM / Maximo database for the plant.
• Arrange for disposal of hazardous chemicals.
• Coordinate annual inspections of all plant equipment.
• Manage Maintenance inventory system.
• Provide leadership and participate in internal and external inventory audits.
• Must be able to work with mechanics on the production floor to gain parts information.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, repetitively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Computerized Maintenance Management System experience a must. Prior PM knowledge
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and parts
• Able to prioritize Plant needs
• Able to communicate with OEMs and vendors effectively
• Ability to estimate repair downtime and Planned Preventative Maintenance
