Superintendent - Heavy Concrete & Industrial Projects

Location : South Dakota

Our client, a leading general contractor, is experiencing significant growth and is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in heavy concrete and industrial construction .

Superintendent Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, with a focus on heavy concrete and industrial projects
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints.
• Oversee the execution of complex construction phases, maintaining a strong emphasis on structural concrete and industrial components
• Ensure all projects meet or exceed safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering plans, specifications, and construction regulations.
• Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination across teams.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to align on project schedules, budgets, and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction to maintain workflow and minimize delays.

Superintendent Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, with a focus on heavy concrete and industrial projects
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale concrete structures and industrial sites.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols on industrial job sites.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work that meets all specifications and standards.
