Position Title : SecDevOps Engineer
Duration : 6 month contract (possibility for extensions / conversion)
Location : Fully Remote
PYTHON ASSESMENT REQUIRED FOR SUBMISSION (free of charge)
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a security engineer, software engineer, site reliability engineer, or security consultant
- 3+ years experience with CI / CD tools - GitHub Actions and / or BuildKite
- Strong ability to automate through scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, etc.
- Experience with Security as Code (SAST / SCA security tools) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc)
- Experience in implementing and managing containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, with security considerations in mind.
- Experience securing cloud networks (VPCs, ACLs, Security Groups, iptables)
- Experience with AWS EC2.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with multiple Public Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong communication skills and desire to collaborate across teams
Job Description
A fast growing IOT company is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join their security team. In this role you will help owning pipeline security which will involve implementing Security as Code, integrating scanners, linters and paved path security tools.
You will partner with other platform teams to mature the clients pre-deployment test methodologies as well as be a champion for the clients robust cultural principles.
In addition, you will take ownership and lead the engineering responsibility for several parts of the project.
Compensation : $70.00-85.00 / HR
