We are currently seeking an Internal Annuity and Insurance Program Specialist to deliver outstanding pre-sales and ongoing annuity and insurance support to D.
A. Davidson’s Financial Professional Teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Director of Insurance and Annuities this role is responsible for supporting Davidson’s Financial Professionals (FPs) in the area of sales, marketing, service, and education to help FPs develop and grow their annuity and insurance business in an efficient manner.
Additionally, the Annuity and Insurance Program Specialist is responsible for delivering timely and accurate product, quote and rate information as well as responding to FPs on case support, client consultation, order entry support, and book reviews.
Experience and Skills
Qualifications :
- FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 or the ability to obtain within 120 day is required.
- State Insurance license required.
- Strong Annuity, Life Insurance, Long Term Care & Disability Insurance sales support experience required. Experience working with Broker / Dealer preferred.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across business units and teams.
- Solid technology skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook). Experience with Annuity Order Entry, Envestnet, CRM, Money Guide Pro preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel to D.A. Davidson branches and attend industry conferences.
Primary Duties :
- Provide timely and accurate annuity and insurance quotes, rates and product information to FPs and Associates.
- Provide weekly communication to FPs regarding annuity rates and product updates.
- Provide superior support to FP’s and teams in preparation for point of sale, i.e. Gather or delegate to external wholesaler support teams : pre-sale package to include carrier & state required training and forms, firm specific required forms, proposals and any other needed support.
- Assist FPs with completion of documentation and processes for Suitability and Best Interest compliance.
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Director of Insurance & Annuities on support process and projects as needed.
- Work in close collaboration with internal partners to build and maintain key relationships, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Develop relationships with carrier partners, such as wholesalers, service operations, BGAs and have knowledge of their products and offerings to act as a liaison between financial professionals and various parties.
- Proactively engage and assist FPs in existing insurance and annuity contract review activities by providing competitive comparisons for contract optimization.
- Monitor process, technology and efficiencies to ensure they are functional, superior and ultimately meeting advisor and client needs.
- Introduce and / or develop resources and services to encourage FP adoption of best practices improving productivity, compliance, and the client experience including educational webinars and marketing content.

The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
