PT Facilities Repair Worker
The City of Peoria, Parks & Recreation Department is seeking an individual to assist in a variety of semi-skilled tasks related to the preventative maintenance and repair of facilities located at the Peoria Sports Complex (home to the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres Major League Baseball Clubs).
Depending on assignment, this position may require working a schedule that includes flexible days and hours. The person in this position will receive direction from the Sports and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and exercises no supervision over other employees.
The hiring rate for this position is $20.35 / hour.
Essential Functions :
- Perform monthly and quarterly facility inspections.
- Perform filter changes and other semi-skilled maintenance duties, as assigned.
- Assist with the inspection and repair of equipment systems.
- Assist with special programs and events, as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years handyman experience
- A valid state issued Driver's License upon hire
