Job Description

The responsibilities of the Stationary Systems Chief Engineer include :

• Lead the engineering team to accomplish top quarterly priorities
• Development and growth of the engineering team
• Take new product ideas from concept through the engineering process to final design
• Coordinate new product designs with manufacturing department and tool / die vendors
• Establish and maintain design standards, checklists, and procedures for standard products
• Oversee the development and maintenance of bills of materials
• Evaluate design changes for feasibility and integrity
• Perform competitive analyses on competitors’ products
• Assist the sales department on technical issues
• Products are designed according to marketing specifications, proper engineering practices, applicable design codes & standards, and economic & manufacturability parameters
• Engineering and design information for products is properly developed, documented, and maintained
• Divisional quarterly top priorities are met
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of : Mechanical, Structural or Civil engineering Conveyor design and applicationsCEMA specifications and standards
• Manufacturing processes such as (machining, welding, forming, and stamping)
• Commonly used software packages including : AutoCAD, Solid works, MS Office, Salesforce and Google Workspace
• Able to excel as a team leader
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective project management skills
