We are seeking an energetic supply chain professional with a strong logistics background to lead transportation scheduling and shipments of high-volume bulk food ingredients while supporting the daily operations of multiple manufacturing plants throughout the US.
As the Logistics Coordinator , you will be the primary liaison for all critical communication between the local plants, 3PL carriers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery of all finished products.

S. They are experiencing significant growth as their ingredients are being incorporated into a wide range of grain-based foods to provide distinctive flavor and nutrition.

Essential Job Functions :
- Facilitate all planning and scheduling of truck and railcar bulk transportation of finished food ingredients through partnerships with various third-party logistics (3PL) carriers.
- Nurture end-user, carrier, shipper, and producer relationships while providing the highest level of customer service to meet their needs.
- Ensure shipper / carrier contract compliance and lead the resolution effort for any invoicing issues.
- Utilize ERP system to input accurate scheduling data, shipment tracking, update payments, on-time deliveries, and input commodity pricing and contract terms.
- Communicate with internal Supply Chain and Operations team members to initiate the procurement and own being the point of contact through to safe delivery.
Qualifications include :
- BS / BA degree, military logistics background, or commensurate work experience preferred.
- 3+ years in Supply Chain or Logistics, including experience with truck and rail transportation and bulk packaged goods.
- Prior Customer Service and data input experience with invoicing, contract terms, bill of lading, manifests, payment information, and return material authorization (RMA) experience is preferred.
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.
- Experience with all MS Office products and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to solve problems in a dynamic rapidly-changing work environment.
- Proactive, independent thinker with consistent Continuous Improvement mentality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in-office full-time for training before transitioning to a hybrid environment.
