Admissions Co-Supervisor

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time, 40 hours / week, Admissions Co-Supervisor to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission : Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.

The admissions co-supervisors are responsible for coordination and oversight of the admissions personnel. This includes recruitment, employing, discharging, evaluating, training and scheduling for personnel. They must have knowledge of the ins and outs of the admissions processes in both the front and emergency room areas. The co-supervisors write and implement departmental policies and procedures. They act as a liaison for the public seeking admissions information, and between other departments. They must provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff members.

The Admissions co-supervisors will be expected to work together on admissions workflow and process changes / education to admissions staff. The Admissions co-supervisors will work regular admissions shifts and take on the lead duties, office days can be discussed as needed. Continuing to work in the field is necessary to stay up to date with the department processes.

The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with long periods of sitting and / or standing, and frequent repetitive motion of the hands / wrists involved.

Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health System's benefits package and a competitive salary. MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year. Madison Regional Health System employees receive a discount at the on-site cafeteria. Shift differential occurs 6pm-6am Monday-Friday, weekends, and holidays.
