Head Coach - STUNT
St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Head Coach for STUNT. This position is charged with oversight of the STUNT program and fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the head coach.
The coach is expected to follow all NCAA, STUNT, Conference and College policies.
The individual will be hired this summer and the program will begin competition in 2025 26.
Specific responsibilities :
With the assistance of the Director of Athletics, defines and achieves annual enrollment goals of the program. Recruiting is by electronic, telephonic and in-person (travel required) means.
Develops and maintains a system to identify prospective student-athletes and works closely with area high school and junior program coaches to recruit quality student-athletes.
Creates a successful recruitment plan that includes a calendar, budget, contacts with prospective student athletes, and milestone check-in points. - 20%
Responsible for the overall function of the programs within conference and NCAA regulations. Represents the program and the College with any internal or external groups as needed.
Completes administrative coaching responsibilities such as preparing practice and game plans, scouting opponents, academic studies follow-up with players, check-ins, etc. - 25%
Develops a competent and effective coaching staff by recruiting and hiring qualified applicants, providing guidance on departmental or College policies and coaching philosophy, encouraging professional development through participation in coaching decisions and recruiting activities, making coaching assignments based upon qualifications, supervising coaching activities, and evaluating performance. - 15%
Assumes responsibility for the retention and matriculation process for student-athletes in their athletic and academic endeavors. - 10%
Manages funds by preparing the budget and exercising authority for all expenditures related to the program. Responsible for fundraising efforts on behalf of the programs.10%
Organizes and coordinates all team travel, schedules all future contests, manages all assistant coaches within the program, monitors the program budget.

Teaches approximately 1-2 activity courses in physical education annually OR provides event management at home athletic contests as SNC athletic administrator. - 10%
Perform additional duties as assigned and attend College required training. Regular attendance is required. Work in a manner that is aware of personal safety and the safety of others and observes safety, health and sanitation codes, regulations, or practices required by the College or governmental authority.
Supervision Exercised Over :
1-4 student workers.
1-2 part-time coaches
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Education -
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience and Credentials -
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -
Strong ability to recruit student athletes in the context of NCAA Division III philosophy.

Working Conditions :
Work is primarily performed at competition / practice venues, classroom or office settings. Weekends, early mornings and evenings are generally required.
This position is expected to travel. This position is expected to work on campus on a regular basis and is eligible to participate in a Hybrid Work and Flexible Schedules.
Approval of Flexible Work Arrangements are at the discretion of the department supervisor to ensure that the needs of the department and college are met.
