This position supports the Director of Student Success and Academic Support in the operation of programs and services of Student Success, including The Learning Connection (TLC), Accessibility Services, and ADA accommodations.
The position holder will oversee and coordinate operational functions, ensuring seamless office administration and strategic resource allocation to enhance organizational efficiency, including maintaining budgets for the area of Student Success.
As the initial point of contact for all who enter the office, the position holder will utilize customer service skills to engage students efficiently and effectively in the services of Student Success and The Learning Connection.
A primary responsibility of the Operations Manager and ADA Testing Coordinator is to manage testing accommodations for students with disabilities, including scheduling, test tracking, and faculty notification.
A position holder should possess strong computer skills and proficiency with various software and technical tools essential for effectively executing tasks and solving problems.
The Operations Manager and ADA Testing Coordinator will also handle note takers and other services related to accommodations.
Essential Functions :
- Utilize technology to streamline processes and efficiency of the office.
- Provide training for, and supervision of, work-study students, including managing schedules, time off, and submission of timesheets for payroll processing.
- Provide operations assistance to the Director of Student Success and Academic Support, including answering calls, scheduling events, and managing equipment and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests.
- Assists with Office of Student Success outreach for students not registered to return and probation letters.
- Sends out letters of accommodations to faculty members each semester.
- Coordinate the logistics of ADA testing and note taker accommodations.
- Serve as a reader or scribe for students needing this accommodation.
- Obtain ATI certification to oversee exams given by School of Nursing.
- Coordinate and assist with activities and registration of events hosted by Student Success.
- Maintain files and records efficiently, including budgets for ADA, TLC, and Student Success.
- Generate tasks, projects, and reports in accordance with the Director of Student Success and Academic Support.
- Collaborate with other offices of the institution in the successful completion of duties and tasks.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hours may need to be adapted to testing accommodations, at times.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures of testing accommodations.
- Demonstrated ability of office and support skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel required; Access, PowerPoint, and / or Publisher preferred);
and e-mail (Outlook preferred).
- Must be able to use technology effectively and possess aptitude for learning new software.
- Experience in Power Campus and Report Manager a plus.
- Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions.
- Detail-oriented and organized with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
