Dispatcher

Full Time weekend position dispatching service technicians.

Responsibilities :

• Efficiently manage and dispatch a team of plumbing technicians to various job sites.
• Receive and process incoming service calls from customers, providing exceptional customer service.
• Schedule appointments and allocate resources to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including details of customer inquiries, appointments, and technician assignments.
• Collaborate with technicians to prioritize tasks and ensure effective time management.
• Communicate with customers regarding service updates, delays, and any other relevant information.
• Monitor and update job statuses to keep customers and management informed.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Utilize software and technology tools effectively to manage and track dispatch activities.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably within the plumbing or home services industry.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using dispatching software and technology tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to make quick decisions.
• Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
