PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Senior-Level Program Manager with managerial experience of Federal Government programs to support an opportunity for our customer located in Dahlgren, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute Assignments independently within the scope of the contract.
The Program Manager shall have demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management, and ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction.
Essential Job Functions :
- Analyzes and coordinates the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of the strategic and integrated Project Management efforts in support of DoD / Navy programs.
- Leads and guides the work of all project support staff.
- Serves as the single point of contact for designated government program / project leaders within the program.
- Interacts collaboratively with other functional area leads to provide overall strategic perspectives.
- Performs more complex analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of the Project Management body of knowledge and how to tailor processes and tools for technical projects.
- Assists with establishing project objectives and collecting, organizing, and interpreting project requirements.
Qualifications :
- Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- At least ten (10) years of management experience, with at least five (5) years involving Federal Government programs.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have the ability to interface with customers in senior / executive level positions.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
