ProDims is accepting resumes for local Civil Inspectors, Construction / Project Managers, and Resident Engineers to provide services for public improvement projects in the Puget Sound Area.

Civil Inspector
- Needs to be familiar with Standard Specifications and Drawings for the City of Seattle, WSDOT, Port of Seattle, SDOT, King County and Federally Funded public works projects.
- Demonstrate past experience documenting and inspecting day-to-day construction activities.
- Ensuring construction is within scope, schedule and budget per the specifications, permits and plans outlined in the construction contract.
- Prepare field notes, inspection, sampling, and testing reports.
- Track, compile, and monitor materials, equipment, testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure that problem areas have been resolved and monitor compliance.
- Submit daily written reports, and photographs to document construction activities, problems and corrective action taken.
Construction / Project Manager
- BS degree in Construction Management, and 15 years’ experience with the administration of multidisciplinary public works construction contracts, with specific experience with roadway, stormwater, traffic control systems, and real time information signs (RTS).
- Familiar with Port of Seattle, SDOT, City of Seattle, WSDOT, King County Transit, Sound Transit standards and procedures.
- Preferred certifications PE, PMP, (ENVSP) and CCM, CESCL.
Resident Engineer
The Resident Engineer will be the primary point of contact for the construction contractor and work closely with owner’s staff.
They will administer public works construction contracts, review construction claims, change order entitlements, as well as preparation and documentation.
Will supervise the inspection staff. Must have FHWA funded project experience of $15-20M or more. Supervise field inspection and field office personnel, review work in accordance with contract requirements, contract administration, inspection, and QA / QC process.
Demonstrate experience with the administration of multidisciplinary public works construction contracts with specific experience with earthwork, paving, drainage, electrical traffic, signal, street lighting, contaminated soil, roadway, sewer, stormwater, traffic control systems, and real time information signs (RTS).
- BS degree in construction management, architecture and / or engineering preferred.
- 15 years’ experience, current Certification of Erosion / Sediment Control Lead (CESCL).
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience working on construction projects and in a supervisory role managing CM staff.
- Preferred experience with Port of Seattle, SDOT, King County Transit, Federally funded civil public works projects.
- Preferred certifications PE, PMP, (ENVSP) and CCM certification.
Construction Field Inspectors
The Inspector will provide construction field inspection services including monitoring daily activities, contract compliance, excavation, field testing, material placement, report field conditions and record items such as personnel on-site and construction activities.
Other duties may include working with the Resident Engineer to ensure the project is built to the contract requirements.
