Job Overview :
As a Field Engineer, you will coordinate manpower, manage on-site materials, logistics, tools, and rental equipment, and assist with certification management. Your responsibilities include quality assurance documentation, managing field training, maintaining current project documents, coordinating with subcontractors, and participating in project scheduling. You will also handle safety documentation, material takeoffs, change management, and set production goals for field staff. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate manpower and onboarding / offloading on project sites
- Manage field workers' certifications
- Oversee on-site materials, logistics, tools, and rental equipment
- Assist with QA / QC document management
- Contact AHJ for inspections as required
- Assist with commissioning meetings and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractor field personnel
- Schedule and renew underground service tickets and OSHA notifications
- Coordinate material releases with Project Engineer
- Complete prefabrication documentation
- Coordinate field training
- Ensure current project documents are available and uploaded
- Review project-specific requirements
- Assist foreman with daily activities
- Assist with RFI creation and management
- Complete daily reports
- Participate in scheduling meetings
- Follow safety documentation procedures
- Enter time for field workers
- Assist with as-builts and change management
- Create and manage production goals for field staff

Work environment involves exposure to weather, noise, vibrations, mechanical parts, dust, chemicals, and working at heights. Reports to the Installation Manager within the Construction Services department. EOE.
