Senior DevOps Engineer (100% Remote)

Job Description

Ringba is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to help elevate the automation of our infrastructure and cloud resources to the next level in order to free up the team's developers to do what Ringba does best - innovate.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and cloud engineering, along with experience in automation, scripting, and configuration management.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can think analytically to solve complex problems, while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

The successful candidate will also be able to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud solutions.

We are entirely remote and have team members all around the United States and beyond. Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud solutions.
• Work within a team of technical experts to solve cloud-based solutions at scale.
• Streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production.
• Introduce and automate internal processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs while owning the full development life-cycle of your projects.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.

Qualifications

• A strong background in DevOps and cloud engineering, along with experience in automation, scripting, and configuration management.
• Experienced engineer who can think analytically to solve complex problems.
• History of successfully working in a remote capacity.
• Be a great proactive communicator.
• Background in system administration.
• Strong background with Kubernetes / EKS clusters, configuration, monitoring, and optimizations.
• Experience with AWS networking utilizing multiple accounts, multiple VPCs.
• Experience with other AWS major services like EC2, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, SQS, SNS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Experience with in-depth monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, using tools like Terraform, automating the application of Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Experience in automation of DevOps workflows.
• Experience with Data Pipelines such as Kinesis Firehose and Data Streams.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and GitOps principles.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) using roles and policies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, BASH, and PowerShell.
