As the LPGA Tour continues to expand its event properties portfolio, the team is looking for a strategic and seasoned sales director, responsible for driving revenue growth from new prospects in the Boston, MA area.
You’ll help build relationships and work closely with key event stakeholders to advance hospitality and sponsorship sales around a premier global event on the LPGA Tour calendar.
The right candidate will have a track record of developing sophisticated, creative, and impact-driven partnerships; is experienced in managing relationships and has demonstrated the ability in influencing key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prospect, generate leads, develop relationships, understand and accurately interpret partner needs, and close new business.
- Develop a robust pipeline to attain individual and tournament revenue goals.
- Develop sponsor sales packages and presentations.
- Manage inventory tracking and satisfactory delivery of all sponsor benefits.
- Develop a strategic sales plan, which may include research, and review of competitive market analysis including financial and demographic factors.
- Leverage existing individual network, community stakeholders, club members, current LPGA partners, and other lead generators.
- Achieve or exceed annual event revenue budget.
- Effectively collaborate with tournament services, operations, legal, and finance.
- Develop and grow relationships with event partners from the sale to partnership activation and through post-event follow up.
- Provide team leadership weekly evaluation of progress against set annual goals.
- Create post-event client recaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 8+ years of progressive sales and event marketing management experience in sports, event management, media, or hospitality required.
- Experience managing and maintaining sales lists and budgets.
- Demonstrated sales knowledge which includes prospecting, research, proposal development, event activation, negotiating, and closing.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
- Collaborative in nature with a no job is too small attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident, and enthusiastic personality that works well within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must be available to work full time in Boston, MA.
