Project Scope : As directed by the US Government, the Candidate shall develop tools to enable technology starting from various initial maturity levels to include, but not be limited to, the following : Blank Slate Development , P roof-of-Concept Productization , and Tool Repurposin g .
Mandatory Skills (Software Developer)
- Experience designing / developing applications (new, existing, legacy)
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements
- Ensuring proper configuration / change management procedures are followed
- Obtaining info on project limitations / capabilities
- Providing Tier 1-4 assistance
- Consulting with customers about software design, UI preferences, and maintenance
- Designing / developing database management systems, image processing, collaborative tools, data manipulation techniques, data viz techniques
- Designing / developing tools for OS platforms
- Designing / developing tools that integrate with commercial applications
- Designing / developing software systems
- Developing / executing unit and functional test plans
- Developing / executing software system testing
- Modifying existing software
- Performing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency
- Providing database architecture and design capabilities
- Providing end-user instructions or manuals
