Job Description :

In this position, you will be aiding in all duties related to helping maintain and expand the Enterprise Tableau Server deployment as well as expanding and maintain various platform environments that are used for Data Virtualization (e.

g Tibco Data Virtualization, Starburst, Denodo).

In this role, you will gain experience in multiple facets of IT including server / cluster administration, server architecture, application management, application sustainment, and supporting Enterprise customer adoption and retention, as well as Windows / Linux server operating systems.

Tibco DV is a current Lockheed Martin Data virtualization platform, which opens up opportunities to be highly integrated into 1LMX initiatives which are evaluating other Data Virtualization products like IBM Cloud Pak, SAP Smart Data Access, Starburst-Trino and others.

Required Skills :

Strong Experience with at least one Data Virtualization platform ( Tibco DV, Denodo, Starburst, Tino etc.)

Advanced hands-on experience with Tibco Data Virtualization Server Administration (or equivalent product) and Development principles.

Ability to administer Servers / Clusters for data virtualization platform. Perform and monitor health of platform.

Expert in troubleshooting complex IT systems.

Advanced SQL development experience.

Expert in incident and request triage.

Large breadth of experience in various data technology domains such as RDBMS, data lakes, ETL, EDW, BI, etc.

• Advanced written and oral communication and consulting skills.
• Advanced ability to research, review, and retain a lot of information.

Advanced experience with administering enterprise business applications.

Mid-level experience with RDBMS Database Administration.

Mid-level Experience with scripting in PowerShell and bash.

Mid-level Windows Server and Linux experience.

Basic familiarity with development team collaboration and management tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.

Basic experience programming in Python.

Basic proficiency with Dynatrace and / or Splunk.

Always takes initiative and self-driven.

Owns his / her work, is always learning, and communicates honestly and humbly.

Desired Skills :

Advanced MSSQL and / or PostgreSQL experience.

Enjoys user community development.

Has practical experience using ServiceNow in support of ITIL practices.

Enjoys documenting problems and solutions in KB format.

Can handle intense situations with a calm and collected demeanor.

Would enjoy working on a tight-knit, high-functioning team that collaborates closely.

Basic Qualifications :

2-5 years of experience in an IT field.

Familiar with application / server management.

Familiar with self-service applications.

Experience working with data sets.

Comfortable giving customer demos and community development.

Familiar with customer adoption & retention.

Tuned troubleshooting skills, particularly in IT.

Works well in a remote team environment.

Positive attitude and energy.

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
