Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Generative AI (GAI) Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development, focusing on leading the development of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions.

This role emphasizes Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud-based AI services to create transformative business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development : Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance RAG systems and LLM orchestration tailored to business needs.
• LLM Expertise : Work extensively with LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT) to develop and optimize AI applications, leveraging their strengths while managing limitations.
• LLM Evaluation : Research and evaluate different LLM models and versions based on business requirements, guiding them through approval processes and building documentation.
• Orchestration Tools : Utilize orchestration tools such as Haystack and LangChain to enhance development efficiency and improve model performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective AI strategies and solutions.
• Stay Updated : Keep up with the latest LLM advancements and integrate them into ongoing projects after obtaining the necessary approvals.
• Cloud Services : Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, using services like Bedrock to deploy and manage LLMs.
• DevOps & Deployment : Leverage AWS services, including Lambda functions, for deployment and pipeline management with DevOps tools.
• Demonstrations : Showcase the power of Generative AI to various audiences, including higher leadership and business stakeholders.
• Mentorship : Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative, innovative environment within the team.
• Responsible AI : Prioritize responsible AI practices, ensuring ethical and compliant GAI development.
• Prompt Engineering : Develop and implement prompt engineering techniques using templates (e.g., JinJa) for optimized LLM performance.
• Vector Databases & Search Algorithms : Experience in designing and implementing search engines, vector databases, and similarity search algorithms.
• Best Practices : Develop and maintain best practices for GAI development, testing, and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a lead developer or in a similar AI-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of LLMs, particularly transformer-based architectures and fine-tuning techniques.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services, especially Bedrock, for deploying and managing AI solutions.
• Expertise in LLM orchestration tools (e.g., Haystack, LangChain).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Work Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in AI development, particularly with LLMs and cloud platforms.
