QA Auditor Owensboro, KY - Relocation Assistance
We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Auditor to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
This role involves conducting detailed audits across various locations to ensure compliance with USDA / FDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Audit plants, suppliers, copackers, and warehouses for compliance with corporate quality management policies and SOPs.
- Schedule, prepare for, and conduct audits, including those required by GFSI, customers, and corporate standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, including HACCP and FSMA.
- Work closely with teams to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in managing customer food safety-related complaints.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience in a food industry QA role, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- HACCP and PCQI certification, with experience in GFSI auditing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Compensation :
- $75k-$85k annually, based on experience.
