Software Engineering - Media is focused on improving our media ecosystem through collaboration with internal and external engineering teams to build new features, make modifications to existing features, and resolve blocking issues.
Description
On the Developer Ecosystem Engineering team, engineers analyze partner products and recommend technical optimizations and methodologies.
We host developers for in-person sessions to unblock technical roadblocks and accelerate development, serving as a resource for advocating and implementing changes to improve the ecosystem.
The daily role may consist of reverse engineering, debugging, helping other engineering teams prioritize Media relevant work, and creating content to help audiences understand and resolve gaps in the ecosystem.
- BS / MS, preferably in Computer Science or related experience
- Computer science fundamentals, specifically with operating systems
- Programming fundamentals with languages like C, Objective-C, or C++
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or interest in the requirements of developers in the Media space
- Experience in macOS or iOS programming is a plus
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package, with a range between $143,100 and $264,200 based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees may also participate in stock programs and receive comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products, and educational reimbursement.
