Job Opportunity : Director of Nursing (SNF / Long Term Care)
About the Opportunity : One of our top clients is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead a skilled nursing facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of nursing care, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents in collaboration with intrdisciplinary teams.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop skilled nursing staff.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment to promote employee engagement and retention
- Manage nursing budgets and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless resident care.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of skilled nursing care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and other relevant software.
