Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for a high pay rate contract position in Terre Haute, IN.
The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing acute dialysis treatments, ensuring the highest quality of care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform and monitor acute dialysis treatments in various settings including ICU, CCU, and emergency departments.
- Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Respond to and manage dialysis-related emergencies.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Current RN license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute dialysis experience.
- Proficiency in the use of dialysis equipment and technology.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
