About the Role :
The Catering Specialist Intern at Mollie Stone’s Markets will focus on supporting the Hospitality and Catering Sales manager in various catering tasks.
This position will work out of the main office in Mill Valley and at times our stores. The position will be reporting to the Hospitality and Catering Sales Manager.
This position is an hourly nonexempt position, temp to hire position.
Essential Functions :
Provide superior customer experience for every order.
Taking seasonal catering orders by phone, answering questions, providing details, and ensuring customers understand the items and services we offer.
Editing orders in CRM system
Communication to stores regarding new and existing catering orders
Deliver Catering Orders
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications :
Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Proficiency in various computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Flexibility in schedule.
Competencies :
Strong attention to detail and organization
Professionalism and composure in stressful situations and in meeting short deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to cooperate and work collaboratively towards solutions.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of staff.

Superior Customer Service Skills
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to regularly lift at least 30 lbs.
Standing : Up to 6 hours per day
Seating : Up to 8 hours per day.
Walking : Up to 4 hours per day.
Reaching : Up to 2 hours per day
Please be aware that you may be required to wear Covid-19 related PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated by Company Policy.
Pay range :
$22-32 per hour depending on industry experience
Travel Requirements :
- Independent and reliable local travel up to 10% of the time.
